Episode 215 - With Friends Like These...
What made you decide to confront Neveen about hurting your feelings?I felt it was necessary to talk to Neveen about some of the things she says. Originally Hanna was the one who came to me and said she felt really uncomfortable about some of the things Neveen was saying about Caucasian girls. So I asked Hanna if she spoke to her about it because Neveen is a realist for the most part and sometimes things just fly out of her mouth by accident. Hanna told me no but it really bothered her. And then I started to think… think about the arguments between her and Cordelia. And sometimes Neveen would be like you fat this, you mopey dopey slob.. or whatever and I was like damn. I mean I know it wasn't directed towards me but I kind of started to feel like Neveen had a problem with people who wasn't perfect in her eyes. So I did what any real bad girl would do. I said enough talking about what Neveen says in private. It's time to sit her down and explain to her that her choice of words could be a little harsh at times. I mean Hanna and I didn't want her to feel like we were ganging up on her. So I tried to say it in the nicest way possible.
